Types of Membership
All persons starting from 18 years (or starting from 16 years with written consent of their parent or legal guardian) can apply for a FIGU membership regardless of their race, religion or culture.
FIGU offers the following memberships:
1. Passive Membership
As a passive member, you actively support our community at your own discretion. You have diverse possibilities to participate in community activities and help to shape the community business through the annual Passive Group General Assembly.
The following obligations are connected with a passive membership:
- A one-time registration and identity card fee of CHF 30.00.
- Current annual fee of CHF 30.00.
- Subscription to our community magazine Stimme der Wassermannzeit.
- The sporadically appearing FIGU Bulletins and other informational publications are free of charge.
- In addition to the annual fee, there exists in accordance with a resolution of the Passive Group General Assembly on 9 May 1992, the obligation for an annual 7.0% contribution of a monthly salary (7.0% of an individual month and not 7.0% of the annual salary).
- Once a year the Passive Group General Assembly takes place.
You can download a copy of the registration form in PDF format.
2. Patron/Sponsor Membership
As a patron/sponsor member, you support our community financially without further obligations and responsibilities.
This membership is intended primarily for individuals. The minimum annual contribution amounts to CHF 250.00.
You can download a copy of the registration form in PDF format.
Note: Passive and patron members are entitled to Creation-energy-teaching [spiritual teaching] study, a practical course of study lasting several years, in order to acquire self-cognition, evolution, knowledge and information in a targeted way. The Creation-energy-teaching [spiritual teaching] study is available in the German language only.
You can download a copy of the registration form in PDF format (German language only.)
3. Core Group Membership
The Core Group of 49 guides and leads the entire group in all community business. They lay down the statutes and rules firmly and stands as the highest decision-making body of FIGU for all inquiries and information in an advisory capacity as an aside.
The Core Group membership is conditional on, as a rule, a previous passive membership of several years. Membership requires a full-time commitment and is contingent on two monthly meetings, member contributions, statutory as well as voluntary participation and is connected with the necessary rules. Those interested need to address their enquiry directly to the Core Group at the Semjase-Silver-Star-Center.
If you are interested in becoming a member of FIGU-Landesgruppe Canada, you must be a Canadian resident and also be a passive member of FIGU Switzerland. To find out more see Get Involved.

Message from SSSC – Work Days
Dear Passive Members,
We have some extremely good news for all passive members and we would ask you to forward this message not only to the members of your national or study group, but also to all passive members with whom you are in contact. The committee of the Plejaren, which we asked for advice on this matter, informed us on 9 March 2024 that we should suspend the obligation to work 3 days and also the CHF 70.00 per missed working day. As the construction work on the Mother Centre can be considered to be largely complete and the workload has therefore decreased, the obligation to work 3 days per year can be waived. This also means that the CHF 70.00 for days not worked will no longer apply, as the FIGU is no longer reliant on these contributions, as the large acquisition costs that were essential for the set-up will also no longer apply.
However, as many passive members like to come to the centre to work together with the core group members, the Plejaren committee suggested that we offer our passive members the opportunity to continue to volunteer for three days if there is any work at all. Of course, the obligation to register in good time still applies to this VOLUNTARY WORK and, as before, work is only possible between the beginning of April and the end of October.
Best wishes from all of us and Salome,
Bernadette (on behalf of the core group)
